Dongfeng 160HP Tipper Truck with XCMG Log Loader Crane

This Dongfeng 4x2 tipper carries an XCMG LQS78A forestry crane behind the cab, so one operator can load logs, timber, scrap and bulky goods without a separate loader, then tip the cargo box to the rear to unload. The crane has a 68 kN·m lifting moment, 7.8 m maximum reach, 380° slewing driven by twin rack cylinders, and a 1-tonne grapple that opens to 1,220 mm and rotates a full 360°.

The rear-tipping cargo box is raised by twin hydraulic lifting cylinders and measures 3,950 × 2,250 × 600 mm inside, with a 7,000 kg rated load, so it also handles sand, gravel and other bulk loads. The chassis has a Yuchai YC4E160-33 4.26 L diesel rated at 118 kW (160 hp) with an 8-speed gearbox, air conditioning, ABS, exhaust brake and power steering, and is available in left- or right-hand drive.
